Alright, sorry for the hold up. Had trouble getting the file linked. So, this month, the motivation for the entry is a musical piece. You can listen to it here:
Click here to get to the piece.
If for any reason you can't hear the song, let me know and I will get it to you through email.
Instructions:
You can write whatever you want, so long as you incorporate the idea of this song/piece (or what it reminds you of - whatever). It can be a short story, a comic, a poem, a Haiku, a blog, an essay, anything, so long as you had to write something to do it.
If you would like to post anonymously, when you email your entry to me, come up with an animal to go by. Instead of colors, which Reservoir Dogs used, I'm going to use animals. So, if you pick, say, porcupine, your entries will be signed "The Porcupine." Otherwise, just use your name.
Your entry should be posted by March 31st. Once the entries are all posted, you should read through all of the other entries and make some sort of comment about them, however large or small you like. This isn't mandatory, but feedback is quite useful.
The next topic will be posted (by one of you - we will rotate) on April 1st, and you will have until the end of that month to post your entry. And so on, and so on.
For the time being, please send entries to me at ryene11@hotmail.com. If this is successful, I will pay for a domain name, but for now, please send stuff to my regular email. Please include something about "creative writing" in the subject line so I can tell it apart from all of my junk mail.
I am still figuring this site out, so I will work out whatever bugs and roadblocks we come across as time goes by. Happy writing, and thanks for participating!
