Alright, so here's the motivation for the May entry (click the name to follow the link).
Ludovico Einaudi
You can write whatever you want, so long
as you incorporate the idea of this song/piece (or what it reminds you
of - whatever). It can be a short story, a comic, a poem, a Haiku, a
blog, an essay, anything, so long as you write something to do
it. Seriously, be creative. The piece can have a lot to do with the story or almost nothing - it's completely up to you.
If you would like to post anonymously, when you email your
entry to me, come up with an animal to go by. Instead of colors, which
Reservoir Dogs used, I'm going to use animals. So, if you pick, say,
porcupine, your entries will be signed "The Porcupine." Otherwise, just
use your name.
Your entry should be posted by the end of the month. Once
the entries are all posted, you should read through all of the other
entries and make some sort of comment about them, however large or
small you like. This isn't mandatory, but feedback is quite useful.
The
next topic will be posted (by one of you - we will rotate) at the beginning of next month, and you will have until the end of that month to post your entry.
And so on, and so on.
For the time being, please send entries
to me at ryene11@hotmail.com. If this is successful, I will pay for a
domain name, but for now, please send stuff to my regular email. Please
include something about "creative writing" in the subject line so I
can tell it apart from all of my junk mail. If we're friends on facebook, you can also send them to me there via personal message (not the thread).
I am still figuring
this site out, so I will work out whatever bugs and roadblocks we come
across as time goes by. Happy writing, and thanks for participating!
