Alright, so here is the motivation for the third entry of this project. You can write whatever you want, so long as you incorporate the idea of this image (or what it reminds you of - whatever). It can be a short story, a comic, a poem, a song (even an audio file), a Haiku, a blog, an essay, anything, so long as you had to write something to do it.
If you would like to post anonymously, when you email your entry to me, come up with an animal to go by. Instead of colors, which Reservoir Dogs used, I'm going to use animals. So, if you pick, say, porcupine, your entries will be signed "The Porcupine." Otherwise, just use your name.
Your entry should be posted by April 30th. Once the entries are all posted, you should read through all of the other entries and make some sort of comment about them, however large or small you like. This isn't mandatory, but feedback is quite useful. If you're new to this, or even if you don't end up posting an entry, comments are appreciated.
The next topic will be posted by one of you (we will rotate - I will decide who picks) on May 1st, and you will have until the end of that month to post the next entry. And so on, and so on.
For the time being, please send entries to me at ryene11@hotmail.com. If this is successful, I will pay for a domain name, but for now, please send stuff to my regular email. Please include something about "creative writing" in the subject line so I can tell it apart from all of my junk mail (Also, please make sure I know who you are No one else has to know who you are and which posts are yours, but I do). If we're friends on facebook, you can also send entries to me (through a personal message - not the thread) there.
I am still figuring this site out, so I will work out whatever bugs and roadblocks we come across as time goes by. Happy writing, and thanks for participating!
