Purpose

We trudge through life as clowns, as actors on a stage.
Put on a fake smile and make it to the end.
Controlled by the strings, the lies, the too-often closed door.
It’s easy giving up, falling down upon the floor.

The only true solution, the one way to get out
Fight to find the real you, never put the white flag up.
Refuse to be a puppet, to sleep-walk through your days.
Find your true purpose, firmly make your way.

I once heard good advice, thus I pass it on:
The only risk in life is to take the easy road.
Put it into effect, and you know you will have won:
You’ll have found your path towards a braver world.
